Procrastinating, Stressing, Eating

Procrastinating, Stressing, Eating is for the thinking person, usually a woman, who is busy, probably cares for others (or has in the past), and probably also has paid employment. The demands on her time, and also on her mental bandwidth, are constant. She recognises her own health is important, that change is necessary (soon), but while it is important, it is not essential right now. So, once again, change is delayed.

This isn’t a fad diet book. This isn’t a dieticians’ textbook. This is a smart woman’s solution for a healthy lifestyle whilst living normal life. With humour, cartoons and stories of real women with lives similar to mine, Dianne Wintle explains complex ideas. Procrastinating, Stressing, Eating answers the questions, “How can I lose weight with so much stress in my life? Why is it so hard to do what I know I need to do?” Wintle lists strategies for stopping the procrastination, dealing with stress and eating ‘real’ food. Although the recipes were simple, it is the method of cooking with joy that inspired me to try, yet again, to drop those extra kilos.
